The online biodiversity platform iNaturalist is a citizen-science project for nature fans and scientists alike to share observations of animals, plants, fungi and more. Currently, there are over 250 Million observations from (almost?) all countries of earth, that have been used thousandfold in real research on biodiversity, zoology and more. In a short presentation we learn more about how iNaturalist works and how easy it is to take part. We will learn how to use the App or Website to upload pictures of nature and how to do basic identifications.

It is encouraged to already download the App beforehand, but having the App is not a must, since pictures may also be uploaded via the Website afterwards. For questions message Leon via leon@haagfank.de or use the form below. In the end of the event, the observations we make, will be visible in the iNaturalist project.
